| Adolescent Literacy Professional Learning Module This Professional Learning Module, developed by is designed for classroom educators and professional learning facilitators to learn about the Adolescent Literacy Guide and supporting resources. This interactive professional learning module is comprised of two parts. Part One provides an overview of the Adolescent Literacy Guide (ALG), and Part Two affords an opportunity to go deeper with learning about adolescent development and literacy. Throughout both part one and part two, learners are given choices in their learning in which to explore the areas of their needs/interest. |

| Literacy Assessment Matters This professional learning module was developed by York Region District School Board for Literacy K-12. It features a collaborative inquiry cycle on literacy learning and reading assessment in history, geography, and English classrooms in two secondary schools in YRDSB. Professional learning facilitators may use this module to advance understanding of how reading assessment prompts responsive instruction and how collaborative inquiry supports teacher professional learning. |
