Beginning in Kindergarten, students capture their learning in an "All About Me" portfolio and, from Grade 7 onwards, in a web-based Individual Pathways Plan (IPP). Schools are required to put in place a process to support students in K-12 in establishing, reviewing, and revising their portfolio or IPP. This review happens at least twice a year in collaboration with a teacher and/or guidance teacher-counsellor and, where possible, with a parent.
