Special Education Funding and the Role of a Special Education Advisory Committee
Special Education Advisory Committees (SEAC) are provided with the opportunity to participate in the board’s annual budget process as it relates to special education and review the financial statements of the boards as it relates to special education.   In this presentation and in partnership, the Ministry of Education will provide an overview of funding as it pertains to special education and the Peel District School Board will share SEAC practices for participating in and reviewing these financial processes.
Parent Reaching Out (PRO) Grant Overview
This presentation provides an overview of the PRO grant program. Ontario’s PRO grants encourage parent engagement at the local, regional and provincial levels. This annual program is designed to support parents in identifying and addressing barriers to parent engagement in their own community.
