Learning-Oriented and Improvement Processes

System leaders create learning-oriented organizational improvement processes in a number of ways, including

  • requiring improvement processes to be evidence-informed
  • setting a manageable number of precise targets for school and district improvement
  • developing and implementing board and school improvement plans interactively and collaboratively with school leaders
  • acknowledging provincial goals and priories in school and district improvement plans
