School and system leaders work to improve the instructional program in a number of ways, including

  • lead discussions about the relative merits of current and alternative practices related to early primary learning
  • facilitate opportunities for the staff to learn from one another
  • have frequent, meaningful interactions with teachers, students and parents in order to further the school’s early primary learning goals
