Building Relationships and Developing People


School leaders work to build relationships and develop people in a number of ways, including:

  • lead discussions about the relative merits of current and alternative practices related to effective pedagogy, assessment and technology-enabled learning
  • facilitate opportunities for the staff to learn from one another and reflect on what they are trying to achieve with students and how they are doing it
  • have frequent, meaningful interactions with teachers, students and parents in order to building understanding of the school’s vision and the implications for programs and classroom instruction
  • further support the importance of continuous learning
