Connecting with Improvement Planning

Professional Learning Facilitators connect with improvement planning in a number of
ways, including:

  • work with professional learning teams to support school and board improvement planning
  • connect with various improvement plans and build coherence
  • support the use of data and evidence-informed decision making
  • support the implementation and integration of ministry and board initiatives
  • identify resources and promote their effective use
  • contextualize and communicate goals and plans of improvement initiatives for a given audience


Aligning Professional Learning with School Goals
How might the role of the principal support a focus of learning how to learn and, in particular, support a focus on understanding what the change in pedagogy over time looks like in a classroom? How can we support teachers on their journey to achieve their personal learning goals while considering alignment of goals connecting with school and board priorities?
