Much of the knowledge and skills students will need to live, work, and learn in the 21st century is contained in existing curriculum and other supporting policy documents and strategies. As documents are created or refreshed, they will align the pedagogy and/or supporting conditions for system change that will be enhanced by new and innovative applications of technology and informed by emerging research about 21st century skills and competencies.
Technology is changing the landscape for society - business, health, education, etc. The what, how, and where students learn is transforming with the affordances of technology providing innovative learning opportunities both in physical and virtual environments.
